The FSX workaround of UK Farmstrips, didn't include Stretton or Sealand, because the hangars from the FS9 version, wouldn't show up correctly. Ted Andrews has since done an FSX version of the hangars for me.

Anyway, to get back to Stretton and Sealand, both favourites of mine. Along with a further 18 new strips, I've included them in a batch for FSX that haven't appeared before. I still haven't issued them, partly because I hate doing the ReadMe file but also because they still rely on FS9 tree textures. Ted did me an object file for the FSX trees but I'm jibbing at the thought of re doing the trees in twenty strips!
Anyway, you're welcome to try them and I've put them on my Homepage, where they can be downloaded from

A strip that doesn't appear in Lockyears, though is easy to spot in Horizon GenX, is Mount Rule, here in the Isle of Man.

The installation should be straightforward. Just move the contents of the Scenery and Texture folders in the Static Objects Library folder into the folders of the same name in your FSX Addon Scenery folder. Move the Farms FSX folder into the Addon Scenery folder and activate in the usual way.

Since I can access the better FSX default objects, these strips show a bit more variety.

Must get down to doing a few more, or issuing these.
